Hi, my name is Michelle, and I’ve been a qualified hair professional since 2005. In October 2021, I opened my award winning salon, Shades & Fades in Shawbirch, Telford.

At our salon, we cater to the entire family! From women’s and children’s hair (including memorable first haircuts) to barbering services for men, we provide a comprehensive range of services tailored to your needs.

I specialise in colour corrections and hair repair, and I’m proud to offer something truly unique: Shropshire’s first Japanese Head Spa experience.

Passionate about my craft, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development. I’m proud to have trained with industry experts like Jayne Wallace and Lucy Kew. Sharing my expertise is a priority — I love explaining the science behind colour transformations so that my clients can fully understand and maintain their hair’s health and beauty.

It was amazing my therapist was a lovely lady and was very in depth in explaining the best oil for my scalp and the processes that would be completed. I could have fell asleep on the bed.
